Episode 3: The Big ‘Ole Relationship Episode

This week we talk relationships, online dating, new school vs old school dating and a creepy guy story you don’t want to miss.  Plus Cory’s girlfriend Erin joins in on the fun and gives the womens perspective.

Next week we are doing an episode in honor of Cinco De Mayo where we will play an “O” The Anthem drinking game but we need your help.  Submit words that will cause Cory and Rob to drink and we will steer the conversation in that way.  It’s listener request week so give us our topics and no-no words and we will get good and innapropriate.  Submit through facebook, twitter, google+ at OTheAnthem or robertncheek and we will post the poll on Thursday.  You can also call or text the listener line at 4432197595 and leave your suggestions or comments there.

My friend e-mailed me the link to this podcast with the subject: I went on dates with this douche. Rob, who would seriously date someone or marry them after hearing them say dating is a type of prostitution? Who would elect someone like that to a higher office? Who would ever think you or your intentions were genuine after the things you said on here? Stop crying so much about wanting an old fashioned relationship when you don’t have old fashioned values. From a happily married man and father of a beautiful daughter…get over yourself. The only person you should be seeing regularly is a shrink.

Josh, Thanks so much for listening. We appreciate your feedback.
We don’t shy away from controversy or conversations that are likely to elicit comments, obviously. We look forward to hearing back from you about future episodes. Check back every week for the teaser and every Tuesday for new episodes.

I believe everyone has a chance to change. Yes, Rob was alot different in most of those situations he talked about he was kind of a douche. But I do believe now he has changed and changed for the better. Being in bad relationships will do that. They help you grow as a person and realize what you truly want out of a life. I would vote for him as president because unlike most politician’s he does not hide his past and most importantly he grew from his experiences. Keep being true to yourself Rob and keep your heart open and one day your perfect girl will come. But like they said on the podcast don’t be so dang picky. 🙂 You can grow to over look things that once bothered you if the person you are with makes you complete.
